She has been in contact with Pellinore for some time in the hopes of getting his help rebuilding, becoming close with his son Leon in the process.
Her uncle Mesden was in charge of the brotherhood when Melwas attacked, dying in an attempt to protect her. Nel Bellflower: Current leader of the Knights, despite only being a teenager, her skills make her worthy of the position. From there, the Knights aided the King of Vale's creation of the huntsmen academies, serving as instructors when not continuing their efforts to stop Salem. It was even said he engaged Salem's lieutenant Gabriel Tepes a few times, which Findel considered some of the most deadly fights of his life. Findel himself was personally responsible for slaying several power grimm that Salem and the Order of Knee had unleashed, including the Order's own namesake, and the Order's current leader Annatar Bauglir in the final battle of the Great War.
They fought on the front-lines of the Vacuo campaign, defended Vale from Invasion by Mantle and Mistral, chased the Order across the four kingdoms, and crossed paths with the privateers in the war enough times to be well remembered in the history of the Sanus Pirate Republic. Led by a powerful warrior named Findel Dolin, the knights went through a series of adventures as they battled the forces of Salem. Backstory: The Knights of Vale was a brotherhood of heroes formed during the Great War by the King of Vale, tasked with battling powerful grimm and the Order of Knee to keep them from taking advantage of the conflict to aid Salem's plans.
